I want to convey the gratitude of the "Academia do Bacalhau" for your graceful participation in our dinner of April 22, 2005.

Your presence, and your speech were truly inspiring and I have heard it been commented, very favorably, in a lot of areas of the Portuguese Community.

Our TV, Radio and Newspapers carried the event, even with more fervor than they did last year.

Most important of all, was the positive impression caused on the 85 young volunteers that provide tutoring and mentoring to students of 18 of our area Schools under the program "On Your Mark". They were made to feel that the community and the City are behind them, and appreciate their efforts for a better, and more educated future for all.

Due to your support, the evening, and the fund raiser, were a success.
